SalonBridge Helps Salons and Spas Sell Retail Online
SalonBridge has announced that we have opened up our online platform to allow salons and spas to market and sell their retail products online. SalonBridge has always allowed businesses within the beauty industry to accept online bookings and sell gift vouchers, giving them their own online bookings page that can be customised to match their brand image.
While salons and spas have been able to use the SalonBridge system to capture retail sales, keep track of inventory, and calculate commission from the SalonBridge console and app, the ability to let their customers browse and purchase their retail products online has not been a feature until now.
Salons and spas have been hit particularly hard during the lockdown. In an industry that relies on customer presence, how do they make money when they are prohibited from trading? We realize how important it is to be able to generate any form of revenue during this time and used the time finalise the release of online retail sales. In a webinar hosted on Friday, 17 April 2020, we introduced SalonBridge clients to the new feature and showed them how they can update their existing retail stock to include images, and how they can accept online payments from clients for retail purchases while they are facing the financial and technical struggles of the lockdown.
In an industry that has long struggled with the use of technology and emerging online trends, SalonBridge makes getting online as easy as flipping a switch and sharing a link with their customers via social media or WhatsApp.
